Before our luxury apartments became a home for expats, seniors, and homebuilders, this house was a 5-star-plus hotel for many years, unrivalled in the region. International and well-known guests stayed here, and a few of them have immortalized themselves in our guest book.

… today you can expect high-quality, fully furnished apartments – ideal for long-term rentals of one month or more. Six DELUXE suites and three DELUXE apartments are available on four floors. Thanks to the elevators in the villa, you can easily reach every floor.

Our six individually designed suites feature stylish furnishings in classic, modern black and white. Each suite offers the highest level of comfort and has a name that reflects its special theme or unique feature.
Suite 6 offers an incomparable view of the Ruhraue nature reserve, while Suite 5 is located in the villa’s imposing tower.
Historic villa
The villa was built in 1898 and served for many years as a spacious single-family home located directly on the Ruhr River.
In 2005, the current owners acquired the listed building with the aim of preserving its historical substance while creating new space for contemporary comfort. Over the course of a four-and-a-half-year renovation, the villa was modernized with great attention to detail—classic elements were preserved and complemented with modern amenities.
Since its reopening in 2012, the villa has welcomed guests as a 5-star-plus hotel—a place where history and modern lifestyle come together in harmony.
